The Graduate Trainee Visa is a visa type that allows an international company to transfer young professionals in training to its UK branch or subsidiary for short-term work experience and training.

This visa is designed to support employees preparing for future managerial or specialist roles by gaining international experience.
Previously part of the Intra-Company Graduate Trainee category, this visa is now included in the Global Business Mobility program.

  • Having worked for your current employer for at least 3 months within the last 3 years
  • Being assigned to a role on the list of eligible skilled occupations
  • Meeting the minimum salary requirements (typically £24,220 annually or £11.90 per hour)
  • Valid passport or travel document
